Inversions/Perversions

Inversions/Perversions is a series of unstable electronic circuits, drawing life from electric current to produce sequential sound modulations. Using basic electronic components, the circuits feed direct voltage in a circular manner, with each component looping and distorting an electric cue, thus producing an ever-changing set of signals. These signals are then amplified and manipulated to create an improvised sound performance, where the pure and raw sonority of electricity is highlighted.

The sound circuits were developed during a production residency in Arteles center, Finland, 2014.
